VOIP GLOBAL — JANUARY 2004

Remember Hal Turner from Davnet? I am still in contact with him and being a good salesman he insures that I keep informed about his ongoing activity in the telco world.

He started a new venture in mid – 2003 in San Francisco … it is called IP Deliver, www.ipdeliver.com. They provide VOIP managed services, interconnection and routing, mediation, network management and OSS to carriers. AT&T, Sprint, TNZ, and Teleglobe, are amongst their customers.

In addition to providing carriers with a fully-managed VoIP network service, The company also provides VoIP interconnections to most destinations in the world. They have now also created VoIP Global. For those carriers who do not have the internal resources to negotiate and implement bi-lateral VoIP routes with other carriers, the company can provide a cost effective alternative on either a short or long-term basis. Through VoIP Global’s established network interconnect commercial relationships; carriers can terminate their VoIP traffic at highly competitive prices. They can also establish and negotiate, on behalf of the carrier, direct bi-lateral VoIP route relationships.
