Amcom acquires IP Systems
In February 2010 the company bolstered its presence in the enterprise voice market following the acquisition of IP Systems. IPS is focussed on the enterprise market with converged voice, video and data solutions, and the proposed deal will go for an initial consideration of A$6.5m, and is hoped to bring an additional A$12m in annual revenues to Amcom.
The deal will see Amcom pay an initial consideration of A$6.5m, including a cash consideration of $5.3m and 4.1m Amcom shares at 30c per share. Subject to IPS meeting specified profitability levels in the coming three years, Amcom will pay additional consideration between a minimum of A$3m and a maximum of A$14m in Amcom shares.
